CHILDREN IN NEED

Cathryn part in a project organized by two amazing photographers from Derby, Ewan Mathers and Holly Booth and Cathryn created and designed a dress especially for this project which you will see from her portfolio work. There was 24 designers, 24 models, make-up artists, stylists, hairdressers and of course Ewan and Holly taking the photographs on the hour over a 24 hour period to raise money for Children in Need. To be part of this was amazing as it is not only helping to raise money for a charity but also gaining more experience in design to create a beautiful garment inspired by The Secret Garden.
CREATE AND CRAFT DOLLY DIVAS - 4TH YEAR ANNIVERSARY

I was asked to do a freelance project by a company in Cromford, Derbyshire called Create and Craft who have their own shopping TV channel on Sky and Freeview. I designed and created illustrations of dolls inspired by Tilda Dolls as well as create clothing illustrations for customers to dress the dolls for greeting cards and background prints which I took my inspiration from Cath Kidston to give a very country styled theme.

My collection was displayed on the Graduate Fashion Show 2011 at
The Assembly Rooms in Derby being the only childrenswear collection
with a catwalk organising my own models and styling the models up for
the show.
